A name or place entered in a search tool passes directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. Williamson County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.

An email may be kept long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

It publishes general directions to Williamson County offices, local courts, the Texas Department of Public Safety repository, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not compiled into a consumer report or a record about another person.

Outside companies power the search boxes. A partner's own privacy policy governs information entered into its tool, including its retention and sharing choices. Those practices are outside this site's control, so review the displayed provider terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff pages, court systems, Texas agencies, public legal resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows one, the destination's privacy terms control the visit. Review them before supplying personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and select ads. Their tracking does not operate as a Williamson County government service.
